Our Missionaries: Matt and Danielle Jensen

Matt and Danielle Jensen are missionaries sent out from Reformation. Matt focuses on pastoral training and church planting in Thailand. Danielle serves in a vital support role by caring for their children, Judah and Gabriel, and helping Matt in a variety of ways.

After college, Matt interned under pastor Reagan Marsh for four years, culminating in his ordination to gospel ministry. He served as one of the founding elders of Reformation Baptist Church prior to entering the deputation stage of missionary service. The Jensen family was sent out from Reformation Baptist Church in February 2022 with the full blessing of the session and congregation, as well as the recognition and support of our Association.

Matt has had biblical counseling training and is a masters student at Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary. He and Danielle are serving with the Timothy Two Project International. Once their period of language and cultural acquisition concludes, he will focus on training Majority World pastors and seeking to plant a biblical, 1689 confessional church.

Matt met Danielle in 2016 and they married the following year. Danielle has had biblical counseling training, as well as some seminary studies, and has a huge heart for the lost. One of their first conversations was about the mission field. They discovered that they both felt God’s calling to the mission field and even to the same area of the world, SE Asia. Psalm 34:3 was included in their wedding vows, and it is still their aim to magnify the Lord together in SE Asia. In their spare time, they like to take their two kids to a local park, watch movies, and occasionally eat pizza.

Matt and Danielle are grateful for every prayer you offer on their behalf and any missions support you may give toward their work. You may donate online at this link.
